William Cober Garrett, Jr, was born and raised in the American Midwest, studied engineering, contemporary comparative literature and creative writing in college, and began his photographic career in Paris. Taking pictures is one of the ways he participates in life’s magic. He loves photography, film, the outdoors, traveling, dealing with chaos, and people who are engaged and committed in their lives. He doesn’t love destructive violence, greed, whiners and bullies. He has two children, Mia Rose and Ian James, and lives in London with his wife, Cherie, and their border terrier, Coco Chanel.
